Express FC has signed Marvin Praise Wambuga and James Ssemambo from Calvary FC Midigo, Swift Sports understands.
Both players joined Calvary at the start of the season on two year contracts each but their stay at the Midigo based side has lasted for only six months.
Wambuga is a central defender who has previously played for Kira United in the Regional League, UCU in the University Football League and Kyadondo in the Masaza Cup.
Ssemambo is an offensive midfielder who has previously featured for UCU, Kyetume FC, Bumamuru FC in Burundi and Kenya’s Nairobi City Stars.
The duo reunites with coach Jimmy Kintu who has previously coached them at UCU at University level but also at Calvary early this season.
The Red Eagles have also signed experienced midfielder Gift Ali Abubaker, Shafik Lugolobi (on loan from URA FC) and Marvin Nyanzi.
Express will face Entebbe UPPC FC in their subsequent league game on Valentine’s Day (Saturday) at Nakivubo.
