Buhimba United Saints have signed former Express FC and Vipers SC midfielder Musa Ssali on a two year contract.

Ssali becomes the second signing acquired by Buhimba United Saints in the ongoing mid-season transfer window after defender Simon Baligeya.

Ssali has been a free agent since parting ways with Mbale Heroes, a side he played for in the closing half of the previous season.

Ssali rose through the Kitende ranks and made his Uganda Premier League debut with Vipers during the 2020/21 season.

He left Vipers at the start of the 2023/24 campaign and played for Arua Hill before joining Express FC in the closing half of the season.

Ssali is expected to add steel and options in the midfield for Buhimba United Saints heading into the hardened relegation fight.

Buhimba United Saints, under coach Robert Mukasa, are sitting 14th on the league table with 15 points from 17 games played.
