Wasswa Bbosa’s Kitara FC have sealed a place in the 52nd edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup after eliminating Entebbe UPPC 2-0 at Royals Park in Butema on Tuesday, 24th February 2026.
George Ssenkaaba and Alex Emmanuel Wasswa scored the two goals in either half for the 2023/24 Uganda Cup champions.
Ssenkaaba gave Kitara the lead in the 32nd minute to send the home faithfuls into esctasy.
Entebbe UPPC had decent chances to level matters in the first period with league top scorer Ambrose Kigozi failing to hit the target.
Kitara doubled their lead with ten minutes to regulation time through Wasswa.
The Royals join 10-time Uganda Cup champions KCCA FC in the round of 16.
Meanwhile, Entebbe UPPC will seeking to revenge when the two sides next meet on Tuesday next week in the league affair at Butema.
