Kawempe Muslim 3-0 Uganda Martyrs
Kawempe Muslim were 3-0 winners over Uganda Martyrs in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League game played at the Valley.
Kruthum Namutebi, Agnes Nabukenya and Asia Nakibuuka were the were on target to ensure the Warriors bounce back to victory.
Kawempe came into the encounter following a 1-1 disappointing draw against St. Noa the previous weekend.
Namutebi broke the deadlock in the 39th minute before Nabukenya doubled the lead from the penalty spot five minutes later.
Nakibuuka put the game to rest with her fourth goal of the season in the added three minutes of the halftime.
Kawempe maintained their status as the table leaders with 32 points, level with second placed She Corporate who are separated by the goal difference.
Kampala Queens, who are the defending champions, remain third placed with 25 points, seven behind Kawempe and She Corporate.
Uganda Martyrs sit 4th with 18 points accumulated from the 13 games played so far.
