Vipers SC returned to the summit of the Uganda Premier League with a 3-0 win over Lugazi FC under the lights of St.Mary’s Stadium on Tuesday night.
Goals from defender Rogers Torach, Arafat Usama and Odili Chukwuma handed the Venoms maximum points.
Torach gave the Ivan Jacky Minnaert coached side an early lead with a sensational 40-yarder strike before Usama doubled their advantage ten minutes later.
Nigerian winger Chukwuma extended the seven time reigning champions’ lead to head into the break with a comfortable 3-0 win.
The second half did not yield more goals as Vipers return the top of the table with 41 points, two ahead of second placed Kitara FC who beat Entebbe UPPC.
