The mid-season tranfer window in Uganda for the 2025/26 season officially closed on Monday, 2nd March.
Seven time Uganda Premier League champions Express FC were the busiest side during the just concluded transfer window.
The Red Eagles had some of their key players in Richard Basagwa, Muhammad Ssenoga, Hakim Wandera, Ramz Kawooya, Rashid Kawawa and Moses Oloya leave the club.
Following their departures, the Jimmy Kintu coached side has massively beefed up their squad with eleven new signings these are Marvin Nyanzi from Kitara FC, Mulamba Blanchar (Wakiso Giants), Kenneth Kimera (on loan from Vipers SC), Ronald Kiberu (Synergy) and Gift Fred (unattached)
The others are Amos Muwonge (from Booma FC), Vincent Adriko (KJT), Sharif Lubega (CATDA FC), Marvin Praise Wambuga (Calvary FC) and James Ssemambo (Calvary FC).
Express FC will be in action today against Maroons FC at Nakivubo Stadium before URA FC takes on Mbarara City in the late kick off game.
