Renown FIFA agent Ivica Stankovic is currently serving as the technical advisor overseeing all football operations at record Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa.
Stankovic who has served as agent for several Ugandan players like veteran goalkeeper Denis Onyango, Kenneth Semakula, Emmanuel Okwi, Geoffrey Massa and Khalid Aucho is now at Villa in the capacity of technical advisor.
Stankovic has been in Uganda since the start of the 2025/26 season and has made several recommendations at the club including appointments of head coach Zeljko Kovacevic.
He is also behind the appointments of youth and reserve teams head coach Nebojsa Kapoor and Benjamin Ochan.
The Jogoos who will officially usher in Mandela’s second term on April 11th, 2026 are currently fourth on the Uganda Premier League table with 41 points.
They are also in the quarterfinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup with the draws slated for this week. Villa last won the competition in the 2014/15 season when they thrashed KCCA FC 3-0 in the final at Namboole.
