The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson Suubi has appointed the new top management team as part of the recently approved secretariat structure aimed at strengthening governance and improving the overall delivery of football in the country.
Mrs. Ampaire Sheba Ronah will serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer while Mr. Bakiika Samuel Mubiru is head of Division-Finance and Corporate Governance.
Mr. Ahmed Hussein has been appointed as the director Corporate Affairs while Shawn Mubiru is the competitions director replacing Hajati Aisha Nalule.
Mubiru previously served as SC Villa Chief Executive Officer and also worked as the FUFA professional Leagues’ manager.
Nalule is now the Member Relations Director whereas Mrs. Namuganga Julian Bbosa is the Finance Director.
The development follows the approval of the new Secretariat organogram by the 35th FUFA Executive Committee.
The Top Management Team will assume the new roles effective 1st April 2026.
According to FUFA, the appointed officials will provide management and operational oversight within their respective portfolios, supporting the implementation of FUFA’s strategic priorities in line with the approved structure.
The new FUFA structure aligns with its continued commitment to professionalism, accountability and operational efficiency, while also promoting the sustainable development of football across the country. The reforms are expected to strengthen coordination, improve service delivery and enhance engagement with all football stakeholders.
