The FUFA competition department has confirmed the date for the quarterfinal fixtures of the 52nd edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
The games will kickoff on Friday, 3rd April with holders Vipers SC visiting 2024 runners-up NEC FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo (3PM).
In the league this season, the two sides shared spoils in both their league encounters with 1-1 stalemates.
On Saturday 4th April, URA FC who last won the competition in 2014 will face off with joint ten time record winners KCCA FC at Nakivubo Stadium.
Kitara FC who won the Uganda Cup in 2024 will host ten time competition winner Express FC on Easter Sunday at Royals Park in Butema.
Nine-time champions SC Villa will aim for a place in the semifinals away to dark horses Happy Boyz Kagaba on Easter Monday at Kagaba Playground in Kassanda.
In the quarterfinal stage, extra-time will be required in case of a draw in normal time and penalties if the teams are still not separated after extra-time.
