Gombe Secondary School has for a second consecutive title clinched the UMEA Solidarity Game title following their remarkable success in Mbale.
Prince Dr. Nakibinge Kassim graced the closing ceremony on Easter Monday of the games that were staged in Mbale.
“In these games, participation is the most important aspect and not winning because not everyone can win, but when we get together and know one another, we win in many ways.”
Statistically, I have been informed that this year’s participation has been the biggest. These games bringing a total of 122 teams is a massive achievement in terms of why we organize these solidarity games.” Said the Chief Guest, Prince Dr. Nakibinge Kassim.

Gombe registered five Gold medals to emerge as the overall winners while Kibuli Secondary School finished as the immediate runners up with four Gold medals at the games held at Nkooma Secondary School in Mbale.
