Uganda national U17 Boys Team, the Cubs have on Wednesday learnt their group stage opponents for this year’s U7 Africa Cup of Nations.
At the draw conducted in Egypt, Uganda will face Ivory Coast, Cameroon and DR Congo in Group B of the continental championship due to kick off on 13th May to 2nd June in Morocco .

The Cubs under the stewardship of Laryea Kingston who replaced Brian Ssenyondo have been in preparations for the event for the previous couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, Group A has hosts and reigning champions Morocco along with Tunisia, Egypt and Ethiopia while Mali, Angola, Tanzania and Mozambique are in Group C.
Group D has Senegal, South Africa, Algeria and Ghana. The quarterfinalists automatically seal slots to the World Cup while two other teams face off in the playoff for a place in the global U-17 showpiece.
