Ivan Bogere has vowed to help UPDF FC overcome relegation this season despite Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat at Police FC.
Bogere who joined the army side in the mid-season transfer window has so far scored two league goals and two assists for the army side.
“I want to score more goals for UPDF this season to help the team overcome relegation. Everyone knows we want to stay in the Uganda Premier League. I am here to help the team conquer this and winning games.
“We will all give our best to help the team survive relegation this term.” Said Bogere
Bogere joined UPDF FC from Kenyan side Tabora United, the striker burst to the scene with Proline FC in 2019, has previously featured for SC Villa and Wakiso Giants in the UPL.
With four games to the climax of the season, the Army side are currently involved in a relegation fight and sit 13th on the table with 21 points.
