Olaboro on target once again as Calvary edge Police to leave for another day

Lawrence Olaboro was on target for Calvary as they edged Police FC 1-0 at Midigo Playground in Yumbe on Wednesday to keep their slim chances of surviving relegation.

His goal was the difference as the Yumbe based side survived being relegated on match day 27.

Olaboro also netted the all important goal that put KCCA FC’s title hopes on life support weeks back.

Defeat against the Cops and victories for Mbarara City and UPDF FC this week could have seen Calvary return to the FUFA Big League.

Victory over Matia Lule’s side lifted Calvary from bottom place for the first time this season.

Olaboro has scored six goals this term, amazingly his side has managed just seven goals this season.

Calvary is now on 16 points, five behind safety positions and have only three games to the climax of the season.

In their final three league games, Calvary will visit URA and UPDF before a home fixture against NEC.
