Kitara FC will be seeking to keep their title hopes alive when they visit Wasswa Bbosa’s former side Express FC under the lights of Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.
The Royals had their home unbeaten run ended by NEC FC during their previous game as they failed to close the gap on table leaders Vipers SC.
Against the Red Eagles they can’t afford any further slip ups if they are to stay in the title race. They third on the log with 54 points and trail Vipers who play Police earlier today by six points.
Former Express captain Emmanuel Alex Wasswa is optimistic, Kitara can redeem themselves at Nakivubo
“We lost our last game and we were disappointed but we want to win and keep closer to the leading pack.”
“So far, we have played twice against them and beat them and it will be difficult to get a third one but we are determined.” Said Wasswa
Express FC come into this fixture after a 2-0 away win against Buhimba United Saints and arw currently 10th on the table with 33 points.
Goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige will be serving his final match suspension but the rest of the squad is available for the trip to Nakivubo.
Marvin Nyanzi currently at Express will be facing his former paymaster and his expected to put up a great performance along with forward Kenneth Kimera who is on loan from Vipers.
