Uganda Premier League table leaders Vipers SC will on Tuesday make a short trip to Kira Road Arena to take on Police FC.
The Venoms could put the seal on the title this week in case both title chasers Kitara FC and KCCA FC stumble against Express and UPDF respectively.
Vipers are currently top of the table with 60 points, five above second placed KCCA FC and six ahead of Kitara FC.
The Venoms are seeking their 11th consecutive league win against the Cops which will take them a step towards their eighth league triumph.
Vipers drew 1-1 in their previous league game against URA with Usama Arafat cancelling out Ronald Otti’s first half strike.
Matia Lule’s men suffered a 1-0 defeat to relegation fighting Calvary on match day 27 and now face a side they last beat in 2017.
At that time the Cops prevailed 2-1 thanks to a brace from Hood Kaweesa and Milton Karisa found a consolation for Vipers.
Vipers thrashed Police 4-1 in the reverse fixture at Kitende with Karisa, Abdul Karim Watambala, Chukwuma Odili and Usama Arafat all on target as the Venoms recorded their 10th consecutive league win over the Cop.
