Record Buganda Kingdom Masaza Cup champions Gomba have had their camp boosted by Kamengo based Pyramids Maize Millers.
Pyramids Maize Millers from Kamengo has offered food stuffs to the 2026 Gomba team ahead of the prestigious Masaza Cup competition due to kickoff on June 15th 2026.
Lubega Edward, the Operations Manager of Pyramids handed over the food stuffs to Gomba management team on Thursday and promised that they will support the team until the climax of the competition.
Gomba is the most decorated Masaza Cup team with five trophies having won it in 2004, 2009, 2014, 2017 and 2020. This year under the stewardship of their son Felix Ssekabuuza they will be aiming for a record extending title.
Last year, Gomba failed to advance past the group phase and are optimistic to overcome the storm this term Ssekabuuza’s reign.
Buweekula are the reigning champions following their maiden triumph over Ssingo last campaign at Nakivubo Stadium.
