Kyadondo SS eliminates holders Buddo as Amus College edge London College
Hakim Ssenkumba’s Kyadondo SS has reached the semifinal stage of the USSSA National Boys’ football championship.
Bashir Edema’s first half penalty in the 32nd minute was enough to send Ssenkumba’s men into the last four of the competition.
Buddo winners of last year’s edition crash out of the competition and will as well miss the chance of making it to the FEASSA games due in Tanzania.
Meanwhile, Amus College has also made it to the semi-final stage after overcoming London College Nansana 1-0 in the other quarterfinal on Sunday.
Forward Mudasjr Ijosiga scored the all important goal for Richard Malinga’s side at Lira Town College Playground to prevail to the last four.
In the other quarterfinal matches today, Bukedea Comprehensive will battle with Masaka S.S (2 PM) while St. Mary’s Kitende will take on Nuwasa SS.
