Vipers SC could seal the Uganda Premier League title with a win against Maroons FC on Tuesday at Muteesa II Stadium.
The Venoms come into this contest with their Belgian coach Ivan Jacky Minnaert under pressure following a poor string of results that saw them bow out of the Stanbic Uganda Cup by Kitara FC.
The seven time league champions have won just two league games in their previous eight matches.
Against Maroons, the Venoms need just one win to clinch the title since they have a better head to head over title chasers KCCA FC who face URA FC.
Maroons are currently 10th with 35 points and are only playing for positions. They have won just once in their previous five games, drawing three and one defeat.
Vipers will be without Congolese striker Beyuku Munsi due to injury while Milton Karisa returns to the side and is expected to start.
Vipers have drawn five of their previous five games across all competitions, they last cruised to victory on April 26th when they beat Entebbe UPPC 3-0 at Kitende.
