The group stage of the 2026 Buganda Masaza Cup draw has been conducted at Buganda Kingdom headquarters in Bulange Mengo.
The 18 teams were drawn in three groups which are Bulange, Masengere and Muganzirwazza with each having six teams.
Reigning champions Buweekula have been draw in Bulange group along with Buvuma, Buddu, Busujju, Kyaddondo and Buluuli.
Masengere group has been dubbed as the group of death with four previous competitions winners in Mawokota, Bulemeezi, Busiro and record winners Gomba.
Muganzirwazza has two time winners Ssingo, Bugerere, Kkooki, Kabula, Butambala and Mawogola.
Gomba are the record champions with five trophies followed by Mawokota, Bulemeezi and Buddu both on three trophies while Ssingo has two. Kyaddondo, Busiro, Buweekula, Buluuli have all won the trophy once.
This year’s championship is scheduled to kickoff on 13th June but before the opener in Buweekula, the tournament will first be launched on the 10th of the same month at Bulange,Mengo.
