FUFA Big League Relegation Fight: One down, three to go- Who will join Mbale Heroes?

•Nebbi Central Vs Paidha Black Angels – Luo stadium, Nebbi
•Bunyaruguru United Vs Kaaro Karungi – Kasese
•Kiyinda Boys Vs Ntugasaze – Mityana Ssaza ground
•Onduparaka Vs Blacks Power – Ababet Green Light Stadium, Arua
•Kigezi Homeboyz Vs CATDA – Al Madina Stadium, Kabale
•Young Elephant Academy Vs Wakiso Giants – Elephants Park, Nwoya
•Mbale Heroes Vs Iganga United – Mbale City stadium


The 2025/26 FUFA Big League campaign will climax on Saturday, 6th June with a lot to be settled on the final day of the season.

Former Uganda Premier League entity Mbale Heroes had their relegation from the FUFA Big League confirmed last month but could be joined by two or three former topflight sides.

Wakiso Giants and Soltilo Bright Stars more likely to go down

The Purple Sharks are currently on 31 points and will need to maximize points away to Young Elephants and hope that Bright Stars(32 points), Kaaro Karungi (33 points), Nebbi Central (34 points) all engaged in the fight for survival flatter on the final day.

Soltilo Bright will take on Kataka FC who are seeking top-tier promotion this term while Nebbi Central will entertain Paidha Black Angels.

Kaaro Karungi with 33 points are also in the battle for relegation and will travel to Bunyaruguru United while other relegation fighting candidates CATDA travel to already promoted Kigezi Homeboyz on the final day.

Onduparaka FC with 35 points they have garnered this term need at least a point over Blacks Power to secure FUFA Big League status next season. This season, four teams will be relegated and four will attain topflight status.
