Record Buganda Masaza Cup champions Gomba have on Sunday, 7th June unveiled their team for the 2026 edition of the prestigious competition.
The five time Masaza Cup winners announced a 31-man squad for the event that kicks off in Buweekula next week.
Gomba are coached by Felix Ssekabuuza who led Buweekula to their maiden title last year. They announced their team for the tournament at Kabulasoke PTC Playground.
Gomba also had a practice game with reigning champions Buweekula, with both sides playing out to a 1-1 draw. Faisal Bumba netted for the visitors with Owen Mawejje restoring parity for the home side.
Gomba is in Masengere Group alongside with Mawokota, Kyaggwe, Busiro, Ssese, and Bulemeezi.
Ssekabuuza’s men will begin their 2026 campaign away to 2022 competition winners Busiro on June 21.
