Defender Patrick Bayiga is expected to leave Uganda Premier League side NEC FC this transfer window, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Bayiga joined NEC FC at the start of the 2024/25 season on a two year deal that expires this month. This website has established that the defender has offers outside Uganda.

It’s unlikely that Bayiga will extend his stay at the Bugolobi based side beyond his current deal.
Sources reveal that several clubs outside the country are interested in Bayiga’s signature but it’s unlikely he will renew his stay at the Bugolobi based side.
Before joining NEC FC, Bayiga had spent the last five seasons at Maroons FC having joined them at the start of the 2018/19 season.
NEC FC has already lost Joseph Dhata who joined South Sudan side Jamus SC on two year employment contract. Under the stewardship of Badru Kaddu, NEC finished fifth on the Uganda Premier League table last term and also exited the Uganda Cup at the quarterfinal stage.
