Uganda Premier League record champions SC Villa will part ways with goalkeeper Braddy Jeans Wokorach following expiration of his employment contract.
Wokorach joined SC Villa at the start of the 2023/24 season on a three year deal which expired at the end of the just concluded season and this website has established the club is unlikely to renew his stay.
During his time at Villa, he won the 2023/24 league title and is remembered for his penalty save away to BUL FC as Villa triumphed 1-0 on their way to the title in that same season ending a 20-year title drought.
Wokorach is also a former NEC FC custodian where he played a vital role as the Bugolobi based side gained topflight football in the 2022/23 season, in fact he managed nine clean sheets for the side in the Big League that season.
He has struggled for playing time during the 2025/26 season with Villa head coach Zeljko Kovacevic deploying David Lukwago as his first choice.
Villa finished third on the Uganda Premier League with 61 points and also missed out on silverware with defeat in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final against Kitara FC. They are expected to beef up the squad with another goalkeeper heading into next season.
