KCCA FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo has confirmed that he was behind Kennedy Muserero’s move to the club earlier this year.

During an interview with journalist Alex Mugalu, Ssenyondo heaped praise on the forward who he expects to succeed at the club.

Ssenyondo received a lot of blacklash from fans and journalists when he brought on Muserero while the club was chasing the game against SC Villa in the just concluded season at FUFA Kadiba Stadium.

“ I pride myself in the youth and I feel happy to bring a one Muserero who is unknown to KCCA, play well, score goals and win a trophy. We brought him and we know his qualities, so we have more time with him and next season you will see the Muserero we brought.”

Ssenyondo asserts that people should be patient with Muserero since joined the club from a third division side.

“Muserero is still young and people should know it’s a very big step that you jump from the third division to the topflight and going to a club like KCCA FC. I applaud that boy for his mental toughness and I believe he will become better.” Said Ssenyondo

Muserero from joined KCCA from Edgars FC in February this year on a three years and four months contract.

At the Kampala Region League side he had scored with an impressive 16 goals. He scored just one league goal for KCCA last term.
