Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have extended Derrick Ndahiro’s employment contract, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
The left back will stay at Vipers for at least two more years this website can reliably confirm. As earlier reported Ndahiro and his representatives had held private talks over a contract renewal following expiration of his previous deal.
The talks have now yielded fruits with the skilled left back committing his future at Kitende.
Ndahiro joined the Venoms in 2024 from Rwanda Premier League side Police FC.
He had joined the Rwanda Premier League side at the start of the 2023/24 season as a free agent after his departure at URA FC.
The left back started his career at Kamwokya before joining SC Villa in 2018 from Kamwokya’s Riverside Forest Park FC.
In 2021, he joined URA FC after impressing at the record Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa. He will battle with new signing Nicholas Mwere and Enock Luyima for a starting slot at Vipers.
The club has so far part ways with six players in Grant Matsiko, midfielder Taddeo Lwanga, Livingstone Mulondo, Nicholas Wadada and goalkeepers Bashir Ssekagya and Alfred Mudekereza.
