Sentamu had a year remaining on his contract at NEC but has reached a mutual agreement with the club to terminate his contract.

It is understood that the experienced midfielder will receive a settlement fee from NEC as part of the termination.

Sentamu joined NEC FC on a two year deal at the start of last season as a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Vipers in June last year.

Express FC are believed to be interested in Sentamu’s signature as they seek to bolster their squad with experienced players ahead of next season.

He won five Uganda Premier League titles and four Uganda Cups during his time at Vipers SC. Sentamu is also a former URA FC player.
