Kitara FC have unveiled midfielder Nicholas Kasozi as their latest signing in the ongoing transfer window.
Kasozi has signed a two year contract as a free agent from Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar as earlier reported by this website.
His switch to Kitara marks a reunion with Wasswa Bbosa who has previously coached him at SC Villa, Express FC and Gaddafi FC.
Kasozi rose to the scene in 2017 with SC Villa before joining KCCA FC and later Kyetume FC.
Kitara are strengthening their squad ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign following their Uganda Cup triumph.
The club has already unveiled Ghanaian defender Christopher Bonney, Martin Kizza, Jackson Ssembatya and Diego Misi Semugera as new signings.
Goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa has also joined the club from Welwalo Adigrat University and will be unveiled soon.
Kitara have also parted ways with Shaban Muhammad, Yunus Sibira, Sadiq Ssekyembe, Amir Kakomo, James Alitho, Aziz Saleh, Frank Kasumba and Eric Tumwine.
