Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Blacks Power have appointed Simon Peter Mugerwa as their new head coach, Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm.
Mugerwa returns into management since his departure at Lugazi FC who recently appointed Abbey Kikomeko as their new head coach.

Blacks Power were not granted Uganda Premier League license for the new season due to issues which include the head coaching role. The newly promoted side have until Monday to clear their books to be granted access to the topflight.
Mugerwa holds a CAF A Coach License and started the just concluded season as the Mbarara City head coach but his stay at the club short-lived.
He has previously coached at Fire Masters, SC Villa, Soltilo Bright Stars, Police FC and has also been a key figure in the Masaza Cup and the National Schools Championship.
