BUL FC and Blacks Power will face off in a top-of-the-table Uganda Premier League clash at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Tuesday.
Both sides have had a perfect start to the league campaign, winning their opening three games, and will seek to maintain their fine form heading into the international break.
BUL have managed back-to-back 4-1 wins against newly promoted sides Kataka FC and Ntugasaze FC to sit top of the log.
Blacks Power, under the stewardship of Simon Peter Mugerwa, also won their previous league outing 2-1 against Maroons FC, having earlier prevailed over Police FC and Ntugasaze.
Mugerwa anticipates a tough game against the league leaders but is optimistic his charges can head into the break on a high.
“This game is another opportunity to play a good game and put up a great performance. As we look for a result, we also have it at the back of our minds that we have to establish ourselves,” Mugerwa stated.
“Despite a good show in the previous games, BUL is going to be a tough challenge for us. They are a good side and we expect a tough challenge away from home.”
“We want to give our fans something to celebrate so that we go into the break with our heads high.”
Previously, the two sides have met twice in the league, with BUL winning once and the other ending in a stalemate.
Alex Isabirye believes home advantage will help his men clinch maximum points.
“Blacks Power is one of the teams with a good run and the game won’t be easy but we have a plan since we also need maximum points.” Said Isabirye
BUL FC will be boosted by the return of captain Walter Ochora.
