2022 Commonwealth Games: She Cranes pitted against champions and host nation England in group B

The Uganda Netball team ( She Cranes) has been pitted in Group B of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

In Group B, Uganda will lock horns with reigning Commonwealth champions and host nation England, Newzealand, Trinidad and Tobago, Northern Ireland and Malawi.

The development was confirmed on Friday morning by the World Netball Governing Body.

Group A has world number one ranked team Australia, Africa’s top side South Africa, Jamaica, Scotland, Wales and Bajan Gems of Barbados.

She Cranes will kickoff their campaign against Newzealand on 30th July before facing Trinidad and Tobago the following day.

On Tuesday, 2nd August Uganda will take on England before facing Northern Ireland and Malawi on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

The top two sides from each group will progress to the semifinals that will be played on Saturday, 6th August with the classification games slated for Friday, 5th.
