Ndejje University has launched a fundraising drive to raise three hundred million shillings ahead of the 12th edition of East Africa University games due at the University main campus in Luwero.
On Thursday, 27th October, the University held a fundraising dinner at Sheraton hotel in Kampala.
The games scheduled for 16th -20th December, 2022.
Government Chief Whip Denis Hamson Obua represented the Prime Minister Rt.Hon. Robinah Nabbanja as the chief guest.

Nabbanja contributed Shs10m towards the campaign. Over one hundred million shillings was collected at a fundraising dinner.
Fifty University teams from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan are expected to converge at Ndejje this December to compete in 20 sports disciplines over two weeks.
The event, commonly known as the EAUG, is a multi-sport university sport event organized in December of every even year (on a 2 years cycle). Athleetes from degree awarding institutions, pursuing at least a full time recognized one year academic course, shall be competing in 20 sports disciplines including; Athletics- Track and Field; Badminton; Basketball; Chess; Handball; Hockey; Karate; Netball; Rugby; Scrabble; Soccer; Swimming; Table Tennis; Tae Kwon Do; Tennis; Volleyball; Wood ball; Sport for PWD.
