St.Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende Director Dr.Lawrence Mulindwa has hailed the triumphant teams at the East Africa games that were held in Rwanda.
Kitende clinched four trophies in football, Netball and Basketball (Girls 3×3 and 5×5 ) at the games.

Mulindwa who welcomed the teams on Tuesday morning at the School campus in Kitende asserted that it’s takes investment and sacrifice to have successful teams
“I thank everyone who has been part of this wonderful success. This achievement is a milestone in the history of Kitende. It’s not something simple to win four trophies at Regional level.”
It’s a very big challenge and requires good preparation.” Said Mulindwa before adding,

“It is an investment worthy talking about, people complain why it’s always us. We are there because we are there.” We understand what they call investment which requires sacrifice.” Stated Mulindwa
In Football, Kitende beat Amus College 4-2 on penalties to clinch their 14 East African title while they defeated St.Noa to the Netball title.
Kitende also retained the Girls’ 3×3 basketball title by beating Rwanda’s GS Marie Rennie 55-47 in the final and completed a quartet of titles with a win the 5×5 Girls’ final over St.Noa 41-36.

Mulindwa rewarded each member of the team with an envelope and also facilitated them with pocket money for a full term.
The technical staffs and medical doctors have had their salaries increased effective next month for the tremendous achievements.
