AFCON 2023: Qualified Teams Revealed

Cameroon and Namibia joined 22 other qualified teams to complete the final line-up for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Five time Africa champions Cameroon beat Burundi 3-0 in Garoua on Tuesday to book their ticket to Ivory Coast.

Bryan Mbuemo, Christopher Wooh and Vincent Aboubakar scored the three goals as the Indomitable Lions secured their spot as well as topping Group C.

Namibia finished second in Group C and also cruised to the continental showpiece due in Ivory Coast.

They join other qualified teams who include defending champions Senegal and regional powers Egypt and Nigeria as well as World Cup semi-finalists Morocco.

Unlike the previous edition, this time there will be no debutants in the tournament.
