Arthur Kiggundu signs new contract at Express


Express FC have been boasted by the contract renewal of towering left back Arthur Kiggundu.

Kiggundu had his contract expire last month but has now signed a new two year deal.

He will feature for the Red Eagles until 2024.

Upon signing a new contract, Kiggundu said he wants to win more silverware with Express,

” Playing for any club is a good thing but playing for Mukwano Gwabangi an extreme feeling. I am here for my next uganda Premier League Silverware this season.”

“I am already enjoying the moment with the new talented players that have joined the team. I cannot wait for the season to resume.” He said via the club’s website.

Kiggundu re-joined Express at the start of the 2020/21 season and played a vital role as the club won the League and the Cecafa Kagame Cup.

The former SC Villa and Tooro United defender joins Isa Lumu, Daniel Shabena and Joshua Musoke as other squad members who extended their stay at the club.

Express FC will start the new Uganda Premier League season with an away fixture at UPDF FC in Bombo on Saturday 1st October.
