Arua Hill gets off the mark with stunning victory over KCCA at Barifa Stadium

Arua Hill shocked KCCA FC with an impeccable 3-1 win at the Barifa Stadium in Arua on Saturday evening.

Isaac Ogwang, Rashid Toha and Rashid Kawawa scored the three goals for the Arua based side.

Bright Vuni netted into his own net to give the visitors a consolation on the day they suffered their first defeat of the season. They beat Wakiso Giants 3-2 in their opening game.

This was Arua Hill’s first game of the current campaign.

Ogwang gave the home side the lead in the 13th minute heading home a perfect free kick from Toha.

Arua Hill who were the dominant side in the first period went into the halftime breather leading.

Two minutes after the recess, Toha doubled the hosts lead before Kawawa put the cherry on the icing of the cake with the third goal in the 59th minute.

The visitors pulled one back courtesy of a Vuni own goal in the closing minutes of the game.

Arua Hill smiled to their first points of the season and will next face Maroons FC.

KCCA FC will lock horns with defending champions Vipers SC on Saturday, 15th October at the Philip Omondi Stadium
