Arua Hill unveils premier league experienced attacker as second signing

Arua Hill Sports club has unveiled Rashid Agau as their second signing in preparations for the forthcoming FUFA Big League season.

Agau joins from relegated Maroons Football Club and signed an employment contract of two years with the Arua based club.

He is a product of St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende and has previously played for Arua Central ( now defunct), Onduparaka FC where he played a vital role in seeing the club gain top flight promotion and Maroons FC.

He joins left back Dan Birikwalira who was also unveiled on Monday.

Among his targets is winning the golden boot and elevating his team to the topflight.


“I want to be top scorer, play good football and make the fans happy. I am looking at scoring more than ten goals to enrich my CV and most importantly help promote the club to the top flight.”



On what led to his move to the Arua based side, Agau points out the administrative structure of the club and professionalism as the key factors upon his switch to the new club,

“The administrative structure they have put in place has been an inspiration behind joining the club and yes even the physical structures they are putting in place, the Arua Hill Stadium shows professionalism which is good.”

Agau stated as reported by the club.

Arua Hill Sports Club will be under the stewardship of Hussein Mbalangu, assisted by Joseph Kiwanuka with Dudu Bosco as the Technical Director (TD).
