Asubo Gafford Ladies struck late through their in-form forward Kamiyat Naigaga to salvage a 1-1 draw against Makerere University in the FUFA Women Super League game played at Kampala Quality.
Makerere University scored an early goal through striker Sharon Namatovu who tapped home from a goal mouth melee in the 16th minute but was unfortunate not to win all three points.
Gafford Ladies fought back and got a much need equalizer inside the added five minutes courtesy of Naigaga who capitalized on a lapse in defense to brilliantly score from a tight angle.
Makerere are now 7th with 19 points and will host UCU Lady Cardinals in their final game on Sunday.

Gafford Ladies are now second from bottom with 18 points and will need to win their game against their direct rivals Rines SS in the final game.

Olila High School currently sit bottom of the table after drawing 1-1 with UCU Lady Cardinals in Soroti.

Harima Kanyago scored for Lady Cardinals before second half substitute Immaculate Ailigat equalized in the final 15 minutes of the encounter.
The other game played on the day saw Lady Doves beat Uganda Martyrs 3-2 at the Katusabe grounds in Masindi to move to the 5th place with 19 points, though not safe yet.
Resty Kobusobozi, Norah Alupo and Diana Nantongo scored for Lady Doves while Catherine Nagadya got the two goals for the losing Uganda Martyrs.
The penultimate round will conclude tomorrow with two games as Kawempe Muslim host unbeaten leaders Kampala Queens while Rines host She Corporate.
