Badminton: Emperor Motors boosts Uganda International Challenge with financial aid

Emperor Motors Limited have boosted the Uganda International Challenge Badminton championship with a financial package.

The company boosted the event with Shs2M to help in preparations. The development was announced on Thursday morning at Lugogo.

Sandra Nakiwala, the Marketing manager of Emperor Motors revealed that they are to continue supporting Badminton and other sports disciplines in various capacities.

“We are committed to supporting the development of local sports in Uganda. We have started our journey to achieving this dream by partnering with the Uganda Badminton Association.”

Uganda Badminton Association Chief Executive Officer Simon Mugabi thanked Emperor Motors for the support towards the sports.

“I take this opportunity to thank Emperor Motors for supporting us.” The means a lot to us and we are glad to be partnering with them during the Uganda International Challenge Badminton championship.”

Emperor Motors Limited join Bank of Baroda who also injected Shs5m into the Championship that have officially kicked off today at Lugogo.

The Championship has attracted over 39 countries who include Australia, Italy, Scotland, USA, Canada, Ukraine, Belgium, Slovakia, Egypt South Africa, Algeria, Nigeria among others.
