Wakiso Giants head coach Douglas Bamweyana expressed exasperation at his team’s failure to win games in the new premier league season.

They kicked off the season with a 0-0 stalemate against Police FC, followed by another 2-2 draw when they hosted Kyetume and lately they fought from behind to force a draw against the defending champions Vipers SC.

We are disappointed with the returns so far when you look at our games. When you compare them with our output, we certainly deserve better”.

He said after the match.

“For today ( Vs Vipers), we thought weren’t playing exactly as we should have on such a level of playing field in my opinion, we were probably like a foreign team in some aspects and it’s very unfortunate but we worked hard and deserved to win”.

“We had 2 good penalty calls but it wasn’t meant to be, luck wasn’t on our side from the officials. That said, we created enough chances to win it but never took them away”.

“Going forward, we need improve on a few aspects like movement with the ball. To be more determined and courageous especially in the box and defensively .

Bamweyana will hope to make amends when his side visit Onduparaka next week on Tuesday. Wakiso Giants currently sit 10th on the table with 3 points but remain unbeaten in this term.
