Bashir Mutanda was on target for the first time this season and inspired Mbabane Swallows to a 2-0 win over Green Mamba in the MTN Swaziland Premier League.

The victory was the first one for the Swallows since the start of the season having drawn all their first three games of the season.

Mutanda scored the opening goal of the game in the 42nd minute before Felix Badenhorst made it 2-0 in the second half.

Victory took them to 3rd place on six points from four games played.

It should be noted that Mutanda missed the closing half of last season but recently returned to action at the start of the current campaign early this month.

Their target this season will be winning the league title having finished the previous campaign in the 3rd place with four points behind the eventual winners Royal Leopards.
