Uganda National Beach Soccer team has been pitted alongside hosts Senegal, DR.Congo and East African Neighbours Tanzania in Group A of the forthcoming Beach Soccer AFCON.
The development was confirmed at the draw held in Cairo on Thursday afternoon.
Uganda will be featuring at the continental showpiece for the first time in history and made it to Senegal after their opponents in the final qualification phase Ghana withdrew

DR.Congo on the other hand progressed after the withdrawal of Ivory Coast while Tanzania defeated Burundi to book their ticket.
Group B comprises of the best ranked team on the continent Egypt, Morocco, Seychelles and Mozambique.
