Ndejje University 1-0 Kyetume FC
Nicholas Luzige scored a late winning goal as Ndejje University edged Kyetume FC 1-0 in a FUFA Big League encounter at Bombo.
Luzige capitalized on a defensive lapse to punish a flat footed Kyetume defense with two minutes left on the clock.
The two sides played out a dull contest with very limited scoring chances until the former KCCA academy graduated broke the deadlock.

Before the match winner, Ndejje came close to breaking the deadlock from another Kyetume lapse in defense but Paul Bwade couldn’t hit target from close range in the 77th minute.
They also had a glorious chance three minutes later when left back Fortunate Bulenzi set up Luzige in the goal mouth but the stand-in captain but the ball slightly above the bar.
Finally, he made amends when he intercepted a feeble pass from Kyetume’s Julius Lule and swiftly drove towards the goal before slotting the ball past the approaching goalkeeper Mugolofa Mutwalib.

Victory took Ndejje to the nine points and in the 8th place while Kyetume dropped to the 12th place with seven points.
Other games played on the day saw Kitara stretch their lead to three points clear with a 3-0 win over Calvary.
Mbarara City shared spoils with Police FC (1-1), Luweero and Kataka FC fired blanks while Soroti City stunned NEC FC 1-0 in Soroti.
Kaaro Karungi beat Jinja North 1-0, Adjumani TC beat Lugazi FC 2-1 same as Booma who registered a 2-1 win over Northern Gateway in Lira.
