Former SC Villa and Gaddafi FC striker Faisal Muwawu has recorded his name in the history books as the first player to score a topflight goal for newly promoted side Blacks Power FC.

They had gone 180 minutes minus scoring and conceded 7 goals in the process.

The goal was however not good enough to win them their first ever match but it managed to help them register their first point .

Meddie Kyeyune leveled matters for Soltilo Bright Stars who were in search for their maiden victory under Asaf Mwebaze. Kyeyune’s goal was also Bright Stars’ first of the current term.

The two teams desperately pushed for a breakthrough but it couldn’t come through and the points were consequently shared at the Aki Bua memorial stadium in Lira.

Bright Stars move to 3 points and remain 9th on the log whereas their hosts remain stuck on the bottom of the log with a single point.

Blacks Power will next visit another winless side in Wakiso Giants on the 21st October while Soltilo Bright Stars will have UPDF as their guests on the 19th of October.
