Bobosi Byaruhanga braced for Vipers exit

2021 Airtel FUFA Male player of the year Bobosi Byaruhanga is set to leave Vipers SC for greener pastures in the United States of America.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that the Uganda Cranes midfielder will make a move to USA in the current transfer window.

He joined Vipers from their junior side and has played in key role for the Venoms winning two league titles (2019/20 and 2021/22) as well as helping the side to the 2020/21 Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.

He was one of better performers for the Uganda U-20 team that finished as 2021 AFCON U-20 runners to eventual winners Ghana during a tournament stage in Mauritania.

The Vipers midfielder is now regular for the Uganda Cranes senior team and last year he started all the six FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifying games.

Byaruhanga has also played in the first two Cranes group F AFCON 2023 Qualification games came on as a substitute in the defeat to Algeria and started in the 1-1 stalemate against Niger at Kitende.
