Bobosi rescues Vipers with a late equaliser against KCCA

Bobosi Byaruhanga late strike earned Vipers SC a point against KCCA FC as the two sides played out to a 2-2 draw at Kitende.

The newly crowned Airtel FUFA player of the year sensationally leveled for the Kitende based side with a long range effort that hit the bar before crossing the line.

Assistant referee Dick Okello signalled to the centre referee Asaduh Ssemeere to award the goal.

But before, Byaruhanga’s goal the game had already produced three brilliant goals.

Sadat Anaku gave the visitors an early lead in the 6th minute with superb strike that left Fabien Mutombora helpless.

In the 28th minute, Ceasor Manzoki restored parity for Vipers after connecting perfectly with Milton Karisa.

Anaku had two more decent chances to extend KCCA’s lead but failed to hit the target and at halftime breather, it was 1-1.

After the recess, second half substitute Yasser Mugerwa restored KCCA’s lead with a sensational strike off a Innocent Wafula cross.

Moments later the attacking midfielder pulled off with a harm string and was replaced by Charles Lwanga.

John Revita was also stretched off and replaced by Musa Ramathan.

KCCA throughout they had got their first win at St.Mary’s Kitende but Bobosi leveled for the hosts two minutes to normal time.

The two sides had to settle for a point in a game that produced fantastic goals.

KCCA FC stay top of the log with 23 points while Vipers are second on 17 points.
