Late goals from Davis Muheirwe and Denis Omedi in the 85th and 93rd minutes helped Booma FC to secure a 2-1 hard fought victory against Northern Gateway.
The hosts had a chance wasted in the 44th minute when Gerald Bua’s effort from the spot was saved by Booma FC goalkeeper Richard Afwoyo.
Emma Obete’s goal which came in the 80th minute turned out to be a consolation for the home side.
Omedi is Booma FC’s top scorer with eight goals, one behind Kitara FC’s Patrick Kaddu the leading scorer of the league.

Solomon Eya of Northern Gateway was sent off by Referee Geoffrey Ssajabi in the 92nd minute for a second bookable offence.
After defeat, Northern Gateway remain in the relegation zone 13th on the table of 16 with seven points from seven games.
Booma FC is now fourth with 13 points from the same number of games.

Both teams will next play on Thursday 1st December 2022.
Northern Gateway will visit Jinja North United FC at Kyabazinga Stadium Bugembe while Booma FC will also play against Kyetume FC at Nakisunga grounds in Mukono.
