Uganda’s pugilist Musa Ntege is hungry for more global honours after retaining his Cruiserweight title.

Ntege beat Tanzanian Shaban Hamadi Jongo with a technical knockout in the title fight that was held at Super Dome Arena in Dar es Salaam.

“I am ready to win more titles and anyone who wants to face me, I am more than ready.” This is just the beginning since I want to win more titles as a boxer.”

He added,

“I take this opportunity to thank my management, the Uganda Professional Boxing Commission for the support. It’s not easy to win a fight away from home but I got the courage from the support I received from various individuals.” Said a glorious Ntege.

His first defense was against another Tanzanian Imani Kawaya in April this year while the first title win was in September against Paul Kamatha also from Tanzania.

Ntege joined the paid ranks in 2015 and has fought his way to stardom. He has won 8 with 6 KOs and lost just twice.
