Uganda Premier League side Bright Stars FC could lose up to 12 players from the team squad that competed in the 2019/20 season.
Swift Sports has learnt that over 12 players are running out of contract at the Kawempe based outfit next month.
The players include defenders Andrew Kaggwa, Sam Ssekitto, Derrick Ngoobi, Aggrey Kirya and second-choice goalkeeper Simon Tamale.

Others are, Moses Okot, Henry Kiwanuka, Augustine Kacancu, Juma Ssebaduka, Methodius Jungu and team captain Sulaiman Ssebunza
Midfielder Jamil Kaliisa has already joined Vipers SC on a four year deal following the expiration of his contract at the club.
Bright Stars will also have to cope up with life without their topscorer Joseph Janjali who was on a season-long loan from Vipers SC.

Janjali scored six goals and managed five assists as Bright Stars raced for Uganda Premier League safety in the concluded season.
Defender Enock Walusimbi has only four months left on his employment contract pending negotiations of a possible renewal.
There is another uncertainty hovering around the club’s head coach Paul Kiwanuka who is destined for a reunion with Fred Kajoba at Vipers SC.
Bright Stars finished 12th on the 16-team log last season with 29 points collected from 25 games played. The 2020-21 campaign will be Bright Stars’ 8th season in the topflight.
