The assembly was the third in Kaweesa’s term as the Buganda Region FA chairman and passed a budget of two hundred and thirteen million, five hundred and sixteen thousand shillings (213,516,000/=) subject to revision by the members.

Nakiwala emphasized FUFA’s call to the Buganda Region FA of becoming professional on and of the pitch since the FA is one of the member associations of FUFA.

” Since Buganda Region FA is under FUFA, we urge you to emphasize the issue of being professional on and off the pitch,” Nakiwala said.

The Region FA also revealed a five-year strategic plan running from 2021-2025 and among other key issues is relocating the regional offices to a bigger and better standard office, league sponsorship and increasing revenue.

Acquiring land to create and launch a playground, increasing the number of women enrolled in both coaching and refereeing, conducting both Futsal and Beach Soccer courses as well as organizing a football first aid medical course are other issues discussed on the day.
