BUL target second place as Gaddafi visits in another Jinja derby

It is Derby day in Jinja as BUL FC host Gaddafi FC at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.

BUL will target taking advantage of Vipers’ loss to URA to assume 2nd place on the log.

They are currently third on the table with 13 points from six games having managed four wins, one loss and drawing once.

They are on the back of was a 2-1 victory over SC Villa thanks to Musa Esenu for the brace.

Peter Onen the man in Gaddafi FC’s dug out will be facing his former employers BUL FC a side he left in January 2020

It will be his second game in charge, the first was a valuble 1-0 win over Arua Hill SC.

BUL FC’s head coach Alex Isabirye anticipates a tough tie but believes he has prepared his side so well for the three points,

“It will be a tough game facing a side that has been losing games but improved with a win. I have always emphasized we are building a team that can compete and we are home.

“We have taught players how to get the three points and I am very sure they are ready for the game and they know we can only compete by winning”

Isabirye has no injury concerns which leaves all players available for selection.

Onen’s side will miss the services of Franco Onen due to suspension and Paul Musamali is still injured.

In case Gaddafi FC moves away with maximum points, they will leap up to 5th on the log.
